Three more Chicago area Picklr franchise locations (Multi-Unit deal) for sale
Last week, an email went out (see attached image) to the player base announcing the sale of three locations in the Chicago suburbs. Two of the locations were not very busy but the third is a bit shocking because it has a lot of players and seems to be highly utilized. The sale will mark the second transfer of these units.
One of the issues is that the locations are in close proximity to one another. The Picklr has another franchise opening soon in Bolingbrook, IL which is less than 10 miles from existing franchises and just a few miles from established competitors. It doesn’t appear that The Picklr is conducting adequate market research on behalf of the franchisees. In addition, these locations tend to be more expensive than their competitors.
