Tomato Pie Tom!
One of our fellow Cat Rescuers is fostering this adorable boy named Tomato Pie Tom he has gone through so much in his short life but has gotten quite the following on other platforms so maybe he'll take off here too! He even has a tomato potluck being thrown in his honor in a week or two!
He's an affectionate, classic one brain celled orange boy who has never met a stranger. After spending time surviving on the streets, he’s making the most of indoor life and is quickly discovering that soft beds, full bellies, and human attention are pretty wonderful.
Tom is the kind of cat who wants to be part of whatever you’re doing. Whether he’s asking for pets, keeping you company around the house, or stretching out for a well-earned nap, he’s happiest when he’s close to his people.
You might notice Tom looks a little funny right now. He recently had corrective surgery to fix a condition called entropion, where his eyelids rolled inward and his eyelashes rubbed painfully against his eyes. The surgery was a success, and while he’s currently rocking a bit of “eyeliner” and some shaved fur around his eyes, don’t worry! As he continues to heal, his fur will grow back, and he isn’t expected to need any ongoing care related to the procedure.
Tom has already been through so much, and now he’s ready for the easy life he always deserved. All he needs is a family to love him as much as he’ll love them.
