New additions to my collection

New additions to my collection

Hey everyone,
Just wanted to share a few new additions that arrived in the mail today (coincidentally right on my birthday, which was a nice little bonus).
Got a couple of fresh UNC coins to fill some gaps, mostly from Luxembourg, Lithuania, Cyprus, and a few others. The luster on these looks so good in hand.

Two new finds!

Hey everyone, had some great luck today and pulled the 2015 German "25 Years of Unity" (Berlin mint "A") and the 2012 French "10 Years of Euro Cash" from my change! I know neither is rare, but since I didn't have them yet, they are going straight into the album. It's especially awesome to now have the French counterpart to my German 2012 coin.

New find!

Hey everyone,
Just found this Charles de Gaulle commemorative coin in my change today.
Even though I live in Rhineland-Palatinate (Germany), I almost never find French commemoratives here. Including this one, I only have two in my entire collection so far!
Super happy with this find, it’s going straight into the album.

New find!

Hey guys,
Just found this one in my change today here in Germany. I know it’s a massive mintage (30 million total) and definitely not rare, but since I didn't have it yet, it’s going straight into my album!
It's the Munich mint ("D") and still looks super fresh and shiny since it was just released earlier this year. Always love finding the new ones while they still look clean.
Happy hunting!

New find!

Hey guys,
Just found this in my change today here in Germany. At first glance, I honestly thought it was a cool commemorative coin because of the handwriting and the portrait.
Turned out I was wrong and it’s "just" the standard circulation coin with the poet France Prešeren.
Still, it’s a beautiful design and we don't get many Slovenian coins up here anyway. Definitely keeping this one for my album.

My Collection 2026

Hey guys,
Just wanted to share my current collection. I collect strictly from circulation, which keeps the hobby interesting for me.
For the banknotes, I only keep pieces from countries I have personally visited or that friends and family brought back for me from their travels. The only exceptions are my notes from Iraq, Syria, and North Korea, which I had to purchase for obvious reasons.
The coins are also 100% found in everyday change. I don't buy from dealers or mint sets. I just prefer the hunt of finding everything in the wild.
