Insider Ownership >3%
Hey everyone,
An interesting question came up on the discord but no one was quite sure how to answer it. It appears that SCD has quite a low percentage of insider ownership.
How should we interpret this when evaluating the company? Is low insider ownership a potential red flag, or are there benefits to having lower insider ownership?
More importantly, how much weight should we place on insider buying as a signal of management’s confidence, particularly ahead of major catalysts?
It is important to note there can be benefits to low insider ownership and there is no magic number that a company should have. This is purely speculative discussion.
