There are, like, 55,251 ATLA fics as of just now. And idk, I’m curious if anyone has managed to read all the fics of a certain tag yet. Bonus points for any maniac that might’ve actually read every single one of these fics, but part of me doubts that humanly possible lol.
Like, I’m just curious. I feel like there are some fics that so deeply understand the characters and their voice it’s criminal it’s not canon. Aaaand then there are others that scarcely resemble who they’re supposed to be. And ofc you’ve got the entire spectrum in between.
But what say you? Most scintillating examples of ficdom? Most egregious tales of character assassination? You don’t, like, have to name drop for the negative ones, but I am still quite curious what people think are the best and worst representations, because it kinda gets at the core of who we understand these characters to be.
These are my 3am thoughts lol which is more fulfilling/satisfying to y’all? Obviously I (and I suspect many others) would be beyond excited for either one. But like if you had to choose one 👀
