A small handful of my sweet 100's about to be my lunch

The more my sweet 100s keep ripening the more I've been putting them in lunches and dinners or just snacking. I absolutely love the flavor, and it's just so easy to go to my garden and pick a few. Today, this batch is going on sourdough toast and sliced up cubes of havarti Dill.

Flower ID

This was in my wildflower batch. I love the little seed pods that look like little whales above it.

Wreath hooks for watering can storage.

I picked up these from Michaels for about $5-ish a piece, but with coupons I ended up knocking down the price to about 8 something. So far they work great.

My 12.00 potatoes

My grow bag was a gift. So about 20 potatoes two are in the pantry right now. Maybe next time I'll get another grow bag or two. That way they have more space.

An idea for moving larger pots

I felt my tomato plant and marigolds weren't getting enough sun, and the pot was too heavy to move. So I stopped by a local hardware store (harbor freight) and bought a flat dolly.

How tall do cosmos get?

So I planted a handful of wildflower seeds and some carrot seeds. Long story short a squirrel got into the box mixed everything up so I got random wildflowers and carrots (hopefully). Now I'm just mega curious how tall do cosmos flowers actually get? PS I don't want an AI answer from Google I just want gardeners here who experience these flowers share their experiences.

My sunflower bloomed!

Just yesterday my sunflower which I thought was a mushroom finally bloomed. When I originally planted it a squirrel had dug through the planter box and caused such a mess , I thought it said squirrel had eaten up all my sunflower seeds. This one and one other survived.

My little gazebo garden set up

Would you believe there was a hot tub several years ago here? The three pots closer to the couch are random wild flowers and milkweed. The big blue pot is the tomato/ marigolds, the sweet 100 tomato plant right next to it, and various herbs on the little staircase one. In the upper right hand corner is my longer pot sitting on part of my fire pit and the two tall plants that you see are my cosmos and my sunflower which seem to be having a spitting match on who's going to be the tallest. And just out of the shot in the bottom right corner there is my potato plant getting ready to Wilt for harvesting. I definitely want to add a couple more tables one on each side of that little couch thing there but I haven't decided what I want to plant yet.

Big beef tomato plant and marigolds

Today I got a big beef tomato plant along with a six pack of marigolds. I got to use one of the pots I found on big garbage day and yes my tomato cage is in correctly now. Also I may add I am going to let go wild a few small, very small trimmings once in a while.

A make shift splint

So it's been very windy lately and the wind knocked down my tomato plant and smashed the self watering bulb I was planning to use while on vacation. Luckily the weather is going to be like 73 or 74. Also, I am glad I got the velcro plant straps instead of just the basic tape that way I was able to make this makeshift splint. Notes: my dad is going to check my plants and water them and I'm going to have him check on the tomato plant to make sure that the soil is at least all right. Also, I've strapped one of the poles to the gazebo so it wouldn't fall down next time. Yes I know my plant is a little scraggly took some bad advice about plucking the suckers and also yes the leaves do look chewed up cuz I had a minor infestation of cabbage Loopers which luckily I get rid of and hopefully they're gone.

Who's that pokemon?

I found this guy sitting on my potato plant leaf as I was about to move it to the shade so the sun wouldn't roast my plant. It looks like it has the body of a bee but very interesting eyes. Any idea? Location: central California

I'm just amazed how fast they grow. I just finished with my last hilling with the potatoes, the dirt is pretty much up at the top of the bag. As for my tomato plant, it was so small now it has 3 sets for flowering vines and 2 little green tomatoes growing.
