I applied for a job with the State Education Department about a month ago. I am fully qualified and had a similar position for three years. But I never heard back, but today I saw that they reposted the same position with a different vacancy ID. So should I reapply, or will that just confuse them?

I am considering getting a Master's in Research for Sociology or Psychology. The social science research field is of interest to me, but I am just concerned about what the job market is like for that industry.

If I got an MA in that field, do you think the investment would pay off in a job or would it just be a useless degree?
