At what point does moving plants around become too much?

I’ve got a few indoor plants near my living room window and the light there changes a lot from morning to afternoon. One plant started leaning toward the glass so I turned it. Then I moved another one closer. A few days later I swapped them again because the first spot looked brighter. Somehow this has turned into a tiny daily furniture shuffle before I leave for work.

They’re growing so nothing seems seriously wrong, but I’m just wondering if I’m making this harder than it needs to be. I like checking on them after work and now I notice every tilted stem like it’s filing a complaint. I’d rather learn their habits than keep reacting to every little change. Yesterday I moved the same pot twice and finally realized I might be the problem here lol.

Do your plants stay in one permanent spot or do you move them around depending on the light?
