I recently made the caraco jacket fro janet arnolds pof 1 and I plan to make another lined in wool with linen on the outside likely the last one was lined in cotton and was ramie on the outside for the summer/spring/early autumn. I want to make one for winter it typically gets no colder than -5 degrees celcius where I am so it´s not an extreme cold but still cold.
I'm working on Janet Arnolds robe a la polonaise and I cant figure Out what would have been used to create the shape of the skirt. Padding? If yes what would it have Looked Like? Is there a suitable pattern for it in pof 5 perhaps? Also I have stays and everything, Just Not Sure what the rump should Look like

I have looked it up but I can´t find an answer unfortuntely. I´m planning to make the polonaise gown 1770-85 from janet arnold patterns of fashion 1 ut without the ruffels and I can´t figure out how much fabric I need for the petticoat and skirt from the dress. the petticoat is from the other polonaise gown but I won´t be quilting it as it´s too hot for me and I plan to make the whole dress out of linen and or cotton.
I would live a pair of shoes Like the Renoir pair fron American duchess but produced and shipped within the eu. Anyone have any recommendations?

when I search straight pins I tend to just find sewing pins like these. however when searching for straight pins I found images of ones like these in the second and third image. would the ones in the first work? I wonder if they are perhaps to small or short, though I do not know where I would get historical straight pins other that etsy which I don´t use being in a european country makes it diffucult to get these items sometimes
