I need advice from experienced runners!

Hi!!! I just started getting into running last week. The first day was brutal but it’s been about four days now and I’m already noticing some improvement, although idk if it’s coming from a better mentality or actual physical improvement. Either way I’m not complaining.

Right now, I’m doing this thing where I alternate between running and walking the entire time. When I started, it was 3x3 (3minutes running, 3 minutes walking). Today I started 4x3. I just wanted to know if this is a good way to get into running? Or if I should just push myself to run the entire way through?

Also here’s my stats from today. In the 4minutes where I’d run, my average pace was around 7:00
