If you have reputable evidence regarding who is responsible for the illegal removal of trees on public property near 97 Street and 178 Avenue, please call 311 and report. City of Edmonton confirmed removal was illegal and to report evidence to 311. Apparently this occurred around the latter part of April.

Behind me, the great towers of stone gather the clouds, but here, the wealth is grown on small branches—a harvest that demands speed and knows no rest. I am perched on a shoulder of rust-colored earth, watching the land tumble down toward a horizon that refuses to rain.

I am the gateway where the forest begins its transition to the scrub, and the fast-movers start their descent toward the northern void.
