Department chair complained to admin that I was unprofessional for getting angry at her

Since she got the job, my DC has had the habit of using their master key to just walk into our classrooms. About a month into the year, I put a sign on my door that says “on conference, please knock.” Admin is actually nice enough to listen, but still, no matter what, the DC just comes on in.

Well, today, I was changing my shirt, because I dropped some food on it, and of course, here she is unlocking my door. I shouted “just a minute!” but she still came in. She sees me with my shirt off and is like “oh I’m sorry!” and all I could do was tell her “maybe if you read the sign on the fucking door!” and asked her what she wanted. She said she was just going to ask me if I could watch her class during my conference so she could do an interview for next year. Of course I said no.

Apparently she went to our vice principal in tears about how I talked to her. I raised my concerns and they said they understood. Such a waste of time because of a soft woman on a power trip. SMH…
