Help!

My Eday (all of my upper and lowers) was one week ago 5/12. I was told to leave my immediates in for 72 hours then remove and clean and just wear during the day. I couldn’t handle the bottoms but they don’t really show so I’m not stressing about those. I have an appointment Thursday so hopefully they can tweak the bottoms so the rear of them don’t hurt so much with movement of my jaw. Removing my tops almost made me pass out. The pain was intense but i get it because everything is still angry and swollen. Today i tried to put my tops back in and it’s still too painful. Am i just doing something wrong? Are you supposed to just suck it up and push them in? I am so sick of being confined to my house because I’m embarrassed for anyone in the public to see me without teeth. Is there a trick to inserting the tops? Is that a stupid question? The only people i knew with dentures were my parents and they both already passed away so i don’t have any denture wearing friends to ask. Thanks in advance for any help
