Not necessarily your favorite pieces, but the pieces that even on a bad day when you feel like you’re not playing well, you can pull out to just relax and enjoy the instrument. I think mine is the «coral lento» from Brouwer’s etudes simples or maybe mvt. 2 of Bach violin sonata no. 3.
I was supposed to have a botox injection in the flexor digitorum superficialis of the 3rd finger of the right hand, but the way it was done left me slightly puzzled, and right now (a week after the injection) it seems it totally missed.
The injection was done on the overside of my forearm, which i thought confusing, as I thought this muscle was located on the underside of the arm, but i did see the muscle flexing on the ultrasound image. this part left me slightly confused but it seemed fine, i just thought i must be wrong about where I thought it was placed.
However, it has now been a week since the injection, and my flexor power seems completely unaffected while my middle finger extensor(!?) is totally powerless. What is going on? Did he simply miss the injection? This seems weird since the injection was made using ultrasound image. Has there been some kind of miscommunication and he purposefully injected the middlefinger extensor instead of the flexor. Or am i stupid and ignorant?
This is currently making my condition a lot worse so some clarity would be appreciated if possible.
