How to access Kawartha Highlands Provincial Park by road/foot?

I am going to be staying near Kawartha Highlands Provincial Park in early September and I wanted to know how exactly to access it.

I know it mainly has backwater access via water but I was interested in the hiking trails, particularly the Missisuga river loop.

Does anyone know? It's not on their maps, it just states the river/lake access points on the map (https://www.ontarioparks.ca/park /kawarthahighlands/maps)

What did you do between your undergrad and grad school?

I did my undergrad in computer science, graduated with a sub 3.0 GPA, and have been working as a software engineer for almost 3 years.

I have the feeling I'd need to do something like a certificate or diploma before even considering grad school to a) ensure myself that I would actually want to do it and b) make myself a better candidate to make up for my GPA

I'm posting this to ask other people what they did between their undergrad and grad school to see if it helped, and if so, what was it?

What did you do between undergrad and master's/grad school

I did my undergrad in Computer Science, I've been working full-time as a software engineer for almost 3 years, and had a pretty shit GPA (sub 3.0).

After working for nearly 3 years I've realized I need to upskill and have some direction in what I want to do.

I don't want to commit to a grad school program nor do I think I have the grades to get into a good program.

Did anyone do diploma programs/certificates after undergrad? Did it help you in your grad school journey? Did anyone do this part time while working?

Temperature/humidity sensor for soil?

I have a project idea that involves reading the moisture level of soil.

Most plants require watering when the top 1" of soil is dry to the touch.

Is there a type of module I can use with the Arduino uno (other than the temp/humidity sensor) that I can stick into the soil, 1" deep, that will just output the moisture/temperature?

Also as a side question, does anyone know what screens can be used for little basic animations (think a bouncy smiley face)? The default LCD display is pretty basic and I think only supports text

Sorry if this is a stupid question in advance. I've looked at other projects on this subreddit by searching for "plants" but they're all slightly different than what I was looking to make, and/or I didn't understand their hardware because I'm a noob
