Am I crazy?

So I got the DDay U.S. Airborne platoon. Love the kit so far, the poseability is incredible, but I'm scratching my head.

The sprue has a right hand holding binoculars. Fair enough, maybe an office has binoculars, I like that.

....there's no right arm without a hand? If you want to use binoculars , you have to clip a hand off a right arm right? Or am I missing something obvious?

Looking for a tool but don't know what the name would be

Hey all, looking for some help here.

I live in a city with a garage door separating our back area from the alley. Unfortunately in the summer the sensor for the door can't deal with the sunlight and will constantly register something in the way. This means the garage door is just open to the alley until either a cloud passes over the sun, I notice the break, and can run out and press the button, or until the sun is less strong at 4-5pm, sometimes later. This is obviously not ideal

***As a note, I am a renter in a multilevel condo building, and changing/upgrading the sensor is not an option since I'm not part of the HOA. We've asked but security improvements to the front were (honestly rightly) prioritized, please don't suggest fixing the sensors. Believe me I'd love to.***

There is a safety catch and a chain (picture attached) that allows manual closing of the door. It works by holding down the safety catch passing the chain until the door closes. I've been doing this but it's really a PIA.

I know this has to exist but I don't know what it would be called. Is there some kind of hand held motor with a chain gear on it I could loop through the chain and just run while I hold the safety catch? Instead of passing the chain end over end while also trying to hold down the catch?

Any help is appreciated!
