Best medium (3-5 miles) hikes in the North Cascades

Hi all- spending a few days in the north cascades. We plan to do 1-2 longer hikes like maple pass and cascade/sahale arm but would like to mix in a few shorter hikes.

Are there a few that you‘d deem as can’t miss? Well be staying in Marblemount so anything close-ish to that town would be an extra bonus.

thanks!

Camera Options for Landscape Photography?

Hi everyone! I'm looking to get into photography as a hobby. I'm an avid hiker and spend a lot of time outdoors, so my primary focus will be landscape and nature photography.

I've been going back and forth between several camera options and could use some advice.

Since I'm relatively new to photography, I'd also prefer something that's user-friendly and doesn't have an overwhelming learning curve, while still leaving room to grow.

If you were buying your first camera today with that budget, what would you recommend and why?

(1) Budget, country, and currency: Ideally $1-2k for the camera body

(2) What equipment, if any, you have now and why is it no longer meeting your needs? I iPhone, but it lacks the image quality and zoom needed to capture the detail and scale of the scenes I encounter while hiking.

(3) What kinds of subjects do you intend to shoot? Mainly nature landscape, maybe some wildlife and street photograpy

(4) Is it primarily for photography, videography, or both? Primarily photograph
