Health insurance

My personal health insurance premium went up significantly starting in July, and it’s now over $200/month for just myself.

I’m a career City Carrier and would like to switch to a USPS health insurance plan. How do I do that?
Also, which self only plan would you recommend?

Thanks!

Can I File a Grievance?

I submitted my PS Form 3971 before my COP ended, but management still messed up my case by marking my COP as LWOP. My union steward has been trying to help, but it seems everything depends on management, and nothing is moving.
Can I file a grievance and request a $25-per-day monetary remedy until I finally receive my missing pay? Or is there anything else I can do to get my pay processed faster? Any advice would be appreciated.

Missed TSP Match

I was injured on the job, my OWCP claim was accepted, and I submitted a PS Form 3971 for COP. However, management didn’t put the COP into the system, resulting in a paycheck of $0.

Because of this, I appear to have missed a pay period of USPS 5% TSP matching contributions.

Has anyone dealt with this before? Can the missed TSP match be recovered, and who would be responsible for the loss caused by management’s failure to enter the COP?

Thank you!

eReassign Has Been On Hold for 2 Years. Any Advice?

I am currently a regular City Carrier and have been trying to transfer into the Maintenance Craft through eReassign.
I submitted my eReassign requests about two years ago and have renewed them every year to keep them active. However, the status has remained “On Hold” the entire time.Is there anything I can do to speed up the process?
Or Should I contact the Maintenance Manager, HR, or the district transfer coordinator?

I would really appreciate hearing from anyone who has gone through this process or has knowledge of how Maintenance transfers work.
Thank you for your help.

Found 4 Rescue Kittens Looking for Loving Indoor Homes – Chino Hills, CA ❤️🐾

About a month ago, a stray mama cat brought her kittens to my home, and I’ve been caring for them ever since. The kittens are now around 8 weeks old, healthy, playful, and very sweet. They’ve been eating wet food and are becoming more comfortable with people every day. 😊
I’m trying very hard to make sure they go to safe, loving, responsible homes. Because of that, I do have a few adoption requirements:
• Indoor-only homes
• Your home/apartment must allow cats
• Must be willing to provide future vet care, vaccines, and spay/neuter
• If you can no longer keep the kitten in the future, I ask that you contact me first instead of surrendering or rehoming them
• I’d also appreciate occasional photo updates during the first few months ❤️
There will be a small $50 adoption fee to help ensure serious adopters only. If after 3 months the kitten is confirmed safe, healthy, and doing well, I will gladly refund the fee.
Please message me if you’re seriously interested and tell me a little about yourself and the home you can provide.
