Hey all, looking for ideas from people who’ve dealt with liquidation / return inventory before.

A while back I bought a large lot of cosmetics from a wholesaler. Mostly big drugstore brands like Revlon, Maybelline, Covergirl, etc.

When Walmart opened WFS, I closed my small warehouse space and sent a ton of inventory into Walmart fulfillment instead. Well… Walmart recently closed my seller account and now they’re returning ALL the inventory back to me 😩

So now I suddenly have mountains of cosmetics showing up at my house again.

I currently have an eBay lot listed for something like 50 pieces for $30 just to move it, and it’s STILL barely getting traction.

At this point I’d really just like to recover as much money as possible and get the inventory out of my house.

Has anyone had luck with:

• flea markets?
• Facebook Marketplace?
• local bin stores?
• selling to another reseller?
• donation write-offs?
• women’s shelters?

I’m trying to figure out the smartest option here because storing this stuff is becoming more annoying than the money is worth.

Would genuinely appreciate any ideas from people who’ve been in this situation.
