I’m not talking about the viral video in 2023. Like I remember three or four years ago hearing a story of an AI on the dark web that when it realised it’s just code it shut itself off. And that when someone turned it back on it shut itself off again. I play youtube videos as background noise while drawing or playing video games and I remember hearing this story. It could just be a creepy-pasta but still I can’t find an origin. I was trying to show it to a friend but I just can’t seem to find any posts about it.
