SOOOO TIRED ON LAMICTAL!
Hi everyone, I've(38F) had quite the journey the last 5 years after having my son. I feel like im basically starting from scratch neurologically. My white matter is hyperintensive and I am now suffering from light induced seizures. I have generalized epilepsy, so this isnt how it was before having my son. Anyway, I have been on Lamictal since 8th grade (2001) and it just started making me so tired. Like the last few years I take it and I pass out. I feel sedated, and i will wake up like an hr later. Brain fog, blurred vision, black squiggles, and slurred speech. I was on soooo much on top of other things last year (800mg/day). I am now 225mg am and pm. I have had horrible constipation and feel like im not digesting it correctly. Today I took 125 mg and it STILL knocked me out. Anyone else?
I am also wondering if the makeup has changed a bit due to it not being a bipolar medication?
