looking to gym but have bad posture

hey guys i have a left aic pattern with very noticeable right shoulder lower than the left but im also looking to gym to gain muscle mass. Has anyone gone through the same? how did you manage it, or is gymming while fixing posture not possible? (don’t have any pain, just tightness here and there)

Hail to the Thief

Here we get a good size comparison of a bald eagle vs at least one other bird. Just wait, you'll see it.

Bald eagles are opportunistic hunters and scavengers. They commonly feed on fish, but they also take birds and mammals when the opportunity arises. They are also well known for kleptoparasitism - the practice of stealing food from other birds, including ospreys and other bald eagles.
This eagle has taken a fish from a fishing boat, and is now flexing the meal it just finessed for all of you.

bad posture, looking for advice/suggestions!

Hi all, I’ve been dealing with several posture-related issues for years and I’m trying to figure out whether this is something I can realistically improve on my own or if it’s worth seeing a professional.

My main concerns are:
- Hunched/rounded upper back
- Forward head posture
- Right shoulder sitting much lower than my left
- Rib flare, with my left rib appearing more protruded

My suspicion is that I have a rotated or asymmetrical rib cage (possibly with the right side being more rounded), and that this could be contributing to the rest of these issues. or maybe scoliosis, or both. I’m wondering whether correcting the rib cage and improving my posture through exercise and mobility work would be enough, or if I should consider getting assessed professionally (e.g. physiotherapy, X-rays, massage therapy, etc.). although I’d prefer to avoid those options if possible because of the costs. photos 2 & 4 are what i suspect might be happening & showing how my body is tilting, photos 7 & 8 are showing my ribs flare when i lay flat on my back.

For context, I’ve had flared ribs and uneven shoulders for as long as I can remember—at least 7–8 years since I first noticed them. I also think I may have a slight posterior pelvic tilt, although I’m not sure.

Another concern is that, over time, my body may have compensated for the uneven shoulders by developing an asymmetrical jaw and a crossbite, although I’m not sure whether those are actually related.

My main question is: if the rib cage asymmetry is the root cause, is it possible that addressing it will allow the rest of my posture to improve over time? Or is it more likely that each issue will need to be addressed separately? (braces to align the crossbite)
I’ve recently finished some major commitments, so Im finally taking the time to prioritize my health. Improving my posture feels like the best place to start, and I’d really appreciate any advice, sources, suggestions, or similar experiences.
TIA! 😊
