Breast enlargement on high dose of estrogen age 28?
Hi , first post, I have been on the lowest dose of estrogen since I was 12. As funny as it may sound I never knew there was higher doses of estrogen birth control. I asked my endocrinologist if I could have taken estrogen pills while on birth control because of how small my breast are and I wasn’t developed properly. The answer was no but he never told me there was different types of estrogen doses.
I currently suffer from PCOS , Hypothyroidism, lupus and I also have a pituitary tumor. I have two children which I just had my second this May of 2026. I do take Levothyroxine, gabergoline, and of course the birth control.
Now I recently went to see the doctor but saw the PA instead and when I asked her about going back on my birth control she said “ you’re on the lowest dose of estrogen birth control.” I know it may sound ridiculous but I replied with “ there’s different doses of estrogen birth control pills ?” I was under the impression that I was on regular birth control all this time since I was 12 years old and thought I needed extra estrogen? So she gave me the new prescription which I’m going to start soon… I did ask if it would impact me negatively with all the conditions I have currently and she said no. In fact everything would be controlled because supposedly higher estrogen birth control lowers your thyroid levels but I’m already on levothyroxine and the pituitary pills are for lactation no correlation to breast growth.
Now my question is, anyone in their later 20s starting higher doses of estrogen birth control have seen any increases in their breast size, changes in face , or body ? That’s my hope for me since I’ve been in the lowest dose all this time.
Also to add my family has very nice breast sizes and round breast. I have prepubescent breasts, it does make me very self conscious so I’m hoping that it could change a bit. Barely size B cup.
