SGU Term 4 Learning Tips + Life Advice?
I’m feeling sick with nerves and overwhelmed with the amount of content. A recent handful of our lectures require rote memorization of genes and their associated cancers, and drugs and their associated adverse effects. A lot of times, there’s no reasoning provided. Or if there is, the explanations aren’t complete bc these pathways require knowledge beyond our current understanding.
What’s worse is I’ve barely passed Terms 1-2 (didn’t get dxd with inattentive adhd until the end of term 2). I’ve never worked well with Anki, so I’m stuck with inefficient, slow, traditional ways of studying by reviewing notes and trying to learn from practice questions.
Can anyone offer some studying advice on what worked for you and what your day to day schedule looked like? Or if you’re a term 4 repeater, what do you think is helping you do better this time?
