I'm starting to gather contacts for a POTENTIAL tour next year and would love any contacts/festivals/venues/annual events in these states. Specific emails and venue names help so much as trying to pitch shows has been insane. Obviously I already have a decent list of festivals and venues, but I want to cover all my bases and start to build relationships, so if you know anybody directly that you are willing to share, I would really appreciate it! Figured Reddit knows best for any hidden gems I haven't already come across.

Also, if anyone else is going on tour in these areas this year or next, let me know! Would love to try to set up a bill or pitch to open where you are booking if it fits. My genre is singer-songwriter/alternative and I am based in Colorado for a bit more context. Thanks!

I genuinely can't tell what the unspoken rules are for asking for promoters emails from other bands, online, or from friends. Like, half the folks I talk to are willing to give out emails and contacts like candy and the other half tell me it's the most unprofessional thing in the world to ask someone for a contact like that. What are your guys thoughts? Do the rules change depending on how popular/well-known you are in your scene or in scenes where you regularly tour?
