Update: Solo cook

Just thought I would give an update on my solo cook as the family are away and I am home alone.

I big thank you to you all for your suggestions. I took inspiration from u/hotchy1, who suggested I go for an Indian takeaway. Instead I cooked up a chicken tikka kabab with naan bread, cooked on the grill, and a simple salad and mango chutney with plenty of beers to wash it all down.

I have enough for lunch tomorrow too. Either that or leave it for dinner when the family get home.

Home alone this weekend - what should I cook for myself?

Looking for ideas to try. I am all alone this weekend. Wife and kid are away and I am trying to decide what I should cook for myself.

What would you cook or try for a meal for one if you were home alone on a nice hot weekend?

My first smoke MB600.

Long time lurker. My first low and slow smoke on my new Masterbuilt. Shoulder of lamb for father's day. This was about 3 hours in. Was up at 5 this morning to do this.

Forgot to take a picture of it at the end but everyone really enjoyed it. I even made some pita bread on here too. Great fun.

On the lamb I made rosemary, thyme, oregano, garlic and paprika marinade and left overnight. Used apple wood in with the charcoal for the smoke. Lamb was local from the farm down the road.

MB Gravity 600

MB Gravity 600. When I flipped this over when putting it together this came out. I can not see how it should go back in the hopper. Can someone help show me where these came from? Pic 2, I assume it is to go over the grills. If so is the thin part of this wedge on the right or left? How should the pins holding in place be.

Thanks in advance for your help.
