Tech+1 is really not a worthwile starting trait

Honestly it feels so bad to take Tech+1 compared to most of the other bonuses it seems to be paired against.

The issue I have, is that at tech 2, the 2 starting things (toilet and fire) go from 1 stamina cost, to 2.

So your total cost if you do Tech upgrade + wood + fire is 5 stamina.

If you take the tech stat bonus, it's gonna cost 4 stamina to get these 2 early things which I think feels bad more often than not.

Yes with the higher tech you can immediatley work on double wood or double firewood or smth... but i'm honestly yet to see a time where it feels more worth it than the alternatives usually posed. Today's challenge is a great example where both the other options get you way more stamina in addition to the other bonuses.

Planning out a very small, very portable pc setup to take with when I go between my place and my folks/ my missus's folks place, or when i'm travelling to other places (visting cousins and the like, which are often 2-3 days over the weekend)

Whilst i have a good idea of what most of the pc components will be, the portable monitor has gotten me stumped. I basically want something that's in the happy middle of the refresh/resolution but I'm just struggling to actually find the mix I want.

Ideally I'd want the monitor to be a 120hz or 144hz monitor (I don't really need higher on a portable rig and i rarely play higher on my main home one anyways), and capable of 1440p (Look, if someone is able to say that 1440p is a complete waste on portable monitors, i'd consider 1080p, but I would have thought that 1440p is worthwhile).

My main use cases would be gaming (mostly single player titles where playing at 1440P, 144hz is my sweetspot) or some work/study stuffs (plenty of document reading, some spreadsheets, etc).

Panel type is where I have the most issues... I would like it to be an Oled or Mini-Led (or some other modern panel tech which does execllent colours and blacks). My main monitor is an Oled and I love it alot ocmpared to the old ips I used to have. I've seen a Mini-Led in person as well and they also look amazing. So i'd be happy with any of these new techs.

I'm mostly pretty relaxed on most of the other specs. I think for size, something that's 16" or smaller would be ideal. And (ideally) an actually good kickstand so that I can set it on a desk/table for use. Things like battery life i'm less concerned about since i'd be plugging it (and the pc itself) into the wall basically any time i'm using em. Oh and i'm more than happy to save up as needed, so consider me to be fine with any cost as long as they meet the other specs.

Any assistance is appreciated.
