i visited it a couple of days ago but for some reason the tram stuck in the ground is gone!
like what was the reason
just wondering if there is enough space to add rails back and if its even needed anymore
with the populations surging, there should be a rail line with it starting from Kangaroo Flat or Bendigo then going off the mainline after the Caldwells Road Bridge to the left side of the track and connect to the track at the williams road level crossing and go the way till Marong with a intermediate stop at Maiden Gully
edit: We would reuse the old track from the Eaglehawk to Inglewood Rail Line that was last used in 2008 and alse adding a second platform if needed

*Reconnect/ just wondering because they're seems to be some redundant junction pieces at echuca that could be used to reconnect the line back, also it would enact tourism and heritage trains have ran to the Port of Echuca before

like for example
85 years ago K169 entered service, now surviving at Coal Creek park,
73 years ago to this day the Ballarat to Daylesford Line was cut back to Newlyn,
64 Years ago the Puffing Billy Railway was opened on the reopened line from Belgrave to Menzies Creek
and 24 years ago, General Motors Station had its final service and closed on this day also

I know of the Portland, Puffing Billy and Mornington Railways that still uses their tear drop bells but is there any where else that still has them?
just wondering, like what do you consider a closed line, that it has no trains on it and booked out of service, or permnantly closed, or that its been disconnected or maybe even Tourist railways like the VGR, is that considered closed since it isn't runned by a government railway?
just wondering why isn't it duplicated
Today is the 74th anniversary of the first diesel entering service!
B60, now A60 survives in the Seymour Rail Heritage Centre
