Urgent Foster Needed for 1yo Dog
This is Jaro, a 1yo old hound-mix who is currently fostered through Muddy Paws Rescue. He originally came to us from the ASPCA after his siblings and him were found in horrible conditions from a hoarding case. He is looking for a foster takeover and ideally one outside of the city where he isn’t surrounded by so much stimuli.
Through no fault of his own, he unfortunately has had to bounce around from foster to foster as he doesn’t do well in the fast-paced and hectic adoption event environment and hasn’t had much adoption interest. He’s a real sweet boy and here’s just a few things about him…
- He's a baby boy who has been dealt a bad hand. He came in with his siblings from @aspca less than a year ago from a rough living situation as puppies, and didn't choose to live in a city full of stimulation, one that often times can feel a little too much for him.
- He's 100% goofball. From the wingspan of his ears, to his little teef, he will absolutely make you laugh several times a day and he really is like no other dog.
- He would love nothing more than a slower pace to his days, ones where he can stroll without bikers, buses and rats crawling out trash cans, constantly whizzing by him. Somewhere where he can take in the world around him at his own pace and freely run around a yard chasing squirrels.
- He loves his people and his people love him. He's been with several fosters over the past soon-to-be year and they've all done such incredible work to make him feel safe and provide him with a stable routine while he waits for that right person or family to adopt him. One thing they all say, is he is a sweet lover boy.
