Word on the street is that the British press writing about the current status of Pippa and Kate's relationship is not allowed due to a press injunction. This is gossip but good gossip. Looks like Pippa is as taboo as Rose right now. The amount of coverups this family is managing is exhausting.

Victoria Burke was just on Billy Bush's Hot Mics today. She was surprised at Liman's ruling awarding Blake fees. She said she entered 47.1 under defamation and not Anti-SLAPP specifically so there would have to be a hearing and evidence of malice produced. She said that Liman treated the motion as a pre-trial hearing accepting that Blake thought she was SH'd. If Wayfarer had known he would interpret the bill that way they could have provided more evidence of malice in their filings.

Bush asked her if Blake was who she had in mind when drafting the bill and Victoria said her experience was with employed women facing off with powerful men. The fees and damages are to cover attorney's fees, losing work to sit for depositions, having to hire babysitters to attend to legal proceedings, etc.

Esra had texted Victoria recently (the timing was a little unclear on this but I think Victoria said after she was on Megyn Kelly). Victoria did not answer the text and no second text was sent.

In the future, Victoria said she will have to explain that her law was not written for someone like Blake who had their SH claims dismissed for not meeting the legal standard. She does not want Blake to be the face of this bill. On the upside, she said the controversy may have helped more victims be aware that this bill exists.
