Caught a pretty little thief

I was admiring the blush on my tomatoes when I caught a thief 😅. So excited I’ll be harvesting my first ever tomatoes soon 😊

From your experience, will the trellis I’m about to build fail?

I have 4 cherry tomato and 4 cucumber plants in grow bags and I want to build s trellis for them.

For the cucumbers, I have 2 6ft T-posts that with a jute netting.

For the tomatoes, I have 4 1x2x8 boards that I want to use to build something like the first picture and attach to my pallets. I have done my search, asked AI and all I’m seeing is that the wood will bow and break. I really would have gone for sturdier wood but I can’t justify the $60 delivery fee for materials that will cost just a fraction of it.

How can I use what I have to get what I need, even if it will last me just this planting season? Am I being too short sighted? If the wood won’t work for the tomatoes, should I use it for the cucumbers instead?

Please help… I’m open to your experiences and suggestions. Thank you!

Please help determine this variety.

This is my first attempt gardening and I got this grow kit from Dollarama (Hamilton, Canada). Seeds germinated, and true leaves are out and I’ve been feeling on top of the world getting “ready” for the next stage only to realize I don’t even know if it’s a determinate or indeterminate variety.

I don’t have the pack anymore but I’m certain I didn’t see the type on the box. Has someone bought this same type? Please let me know if you know. Thank you 😊
