Would you want a pre-structured exit plan or an opportunity to buy out a competitor at a big discount? I'd love opinions!

Gut check from people who own practices.

Our practice is probably our largest asset, yet there's basically no liquid market for it. The day you stop producing, value starts bleeding out — and we've all heard about a spouse fire-selling a great practice for pennies because nobody knew what it was worth or who to call.

The concept: a network of independent dentists matched up to pre-arrange succession ahead of time. A standing, guaranteed buyer at a pre-agreed, regularly updated price — so you get a clean exit if you retire on schedule, and your family gets paid out fast if the worst happens instead of fire-selling. Stays independent, goes to a peer, not a DSO.

Not getting into the how — just trying to figure out if the problem even resonates.

Honestly: real pain point, or non-issue? If you're solo, do you actually have a funded plan for an unexpected exit? Would "guaranteed buyer + family protected" be worth paying for, or is it a solution looking for a problem?

Not selling anything, just gauging interest.

Hello everyone, I have a small pond water feature and I'm wanting to find some watercress to plant in my stream. It's native to the NW and I've seen it in the wild a long time ago. Looking for either a pond supply store that carries it, a grocery store that sells it I can root it from the produce section, or anyone who knows where I can forage some starts.

Thanks!
