So I just finished ITR 1 after quitting halfway through a long time ago, could someone explain what's going on? All I know is that >!the explorer and Katya aren't real!< and a meteor started the event.

I'm super interested in the lore and I wanna understand it.

I'll replay it from the beginning at some point before I get ITR 2.
