Think I dodged a bullet…
Had a guest with a great track record auto book the majority of September. We allow a max of two pets and they had two dogs so it fit great.
They messaged a few days later asking if 3 additional people (one child) and their 3 dogs could also join for part of the stay.
Our guest max is 4 in our two bedroom with no pull out sofa. We also don’t offer a pack and play or other items because frankly it’s a 700 square foot house and it’s really just not set up for multiple families at the same time but I can see how for some guests they may still be happy with the experience despite that. I mean it’s their choice.
But 5 dogs?
We just reminded them we have a 2 pet limit and they cancelled. Which does stink. Of course we want the income.
But honestly I’m glad. 5 dogs and a child and two couples in 700 sq ft? I just can’t imagine that being enjoyable for anyone.
Am I crazy for turning them down like that versus making an exception?
