Wednesday is for REASONABLE SELF-PROMOTION!

Reasonable self-promotion for the next 24 hours! I will give a bit of a grace period if you are further out than the PacNW of the USA. But anything further out than that and I will delete it. There will be another self-promotion day next Wednesday.

Mondays are for If/Then

Mondays are for If/Then - If you like this book, then you might like this book.

Let's give some lesser known books some love!

For instance,

If you like The Hunger Games or The Serpent and The Wings of Night, you might like We Who Will Die by Stacia Stark.

Weekly interaction posts

Sunday: What are you reading this week?

Monday: If/Then -if you like this book, you might like this book

Wednesday: Reasonable Self-Promotion - all other self-promotion posts will be deleted. This is a compromise.

Friday: I'd like to set up Friday night fights - two characters from different books fight it out. Members vote on the winner

Anything else you suggest? Let me know!

If/Then!

Happy Monday!

Another new tradition!

If you like this book, then you might like this book!

Keep it in the dystopian genre/subgenres. Try to use books that don't get a lot of love.

For instance:

If you like The Handmaid's Tale, then you might like Whores: A GenderWar Dystopia by Nicolas Wilson.

Despite all the warnings, I read most of Silver Elite. I DNF'd with less than 50 pages to go because I could not deal with one more boring and overused trope.

Am I the only one who tried it? Because I seriously disappointed.
