I picked this up last week, and it’s a beauty. I never really thought I’d have a custom shop at some point, but I’m extremely excited about it.

I actually got it a couple days ago, but it’s a sweet bass. A bit neck heavy, but sounds good. I considered getting some replacement tuners for it, anyone know of some that’ll drop right in?

I hate seeing old, abused Peaveys at my local pawn shop, so I rescued one today. He gave me a fair price, and made me good offers on a couple others that I’ll eventually go back for. I love the reverb on this Standard. It sounds great after a little Deoxit bath.

My father-in-law picked up this mandolin for cheap at an auction, but I don’t really know a lot about the mandolin world. It needs a clean up, but feels playable with some new strings and a little love. I was curious if anyone knew the year, or place of manufacture?
