Anyone else in Vizag constantly switching between Uber, Ola and Rapido just to find a ride?

Seriously asking because I want to know if this is just me being unlucky or an actual problem here.

My usual routine:

  1. Open Rapido → no riders available

  2. Open Ola → surge pricing or takes 15 mins

  3. Open Uber → check if it's cheaper

  4. By the time I decide, the price has changed

A few things I'm genuinely curious about:

On availability —

- Which app do you find most reliable in Vizag for actually getting a ride? (especially in areas like MVP Colony, Gajuwaka, Rushikonda, Maddilapalem etc.)

- What time of day is the worst? Peak hours, late night, early morning?

- Are there areas in Vizag where one app is clearly better than the others?

On pricing —

- How much price difference do you usually see between Uber, Ola and Rapido for the same route?

- Has anyone actually tracked this? Like RTC Complex to Beach Road or Steel Plant to Jagadamba?

- Is the difference big enough to actually matter (₹30-50+) or is it usually just ₹10-15?

- Do you notice surge pricing hitting all three apps at the same time, or does one stay normal?

General —

- How many cab apps do you currently have installed?

- Do you switch between them regularly or stick to one?

- Would you use a single app that shows you prices from all three instantly so you don't have to open each one separately?

Not pitching anything — just genuinely trying to understand if this is a Vizag-wide problem or my bad luck. Drop your experience in the comments, especially if you're a daily commuter or use cabs for work.

Also tagging some areas — if you're in **Seethammadhara, Dwaraka Nagar, Kommadi, Gajuwaka, NAD Junction, Bheemunipatnam** — your experience is especially useful since these are the spots I hear complaints about most.
