Any good Termux forks with a modern UI?
I like Termux, but its UI feels pretty outdated. The side menu doesn't even open on my phone!
I don't have any issues with the terminal itself or its packages. I just wish the Android side was better.
I've tried NyaMux and termux-kotlin. NyaMux is a little better, but I'm still not really satisfied with either of them.
I also came across a few other projects:

None of the options I've seen have really convinced me so far. Some look better than the original, but I still haven't found one that feels like a polished, modern Android app.
I'm not looking for a completely different terminal or a bunch of extra features. I'd actually prefer something fairly simple: the same Termux underneath, just with a much better UI/UX, sensible defaults, smooth interactions, and proper Android integration.
Has anyone found something like that?
I'm also curious why the official Termux UI hasn't changed much over the years. Is there a technical reason, or is it just not a priority for the maintainers?
