Friend Finder Add-On: Stop squinting at minimap dots, Friend Finder gives you real portraits
Hey all, I built this addon because I have a hard time picking out party members on the map (the dots are tiny and other addons tend to block them). Figured if it helps me, it'll help others.
Friend Finder swaps Blizzard's default party/raid dots for full-resolution portraits everywhere they appear: minimap, world map, zone map, flight map. As of 1.2, you can also turn on a Directional Arrow trail that rotates to show your live facing direction.
Highlights:
- Portraits scale smoothly across zoom levels (no more pin-sized icons on continents or giants in cities)
- Choose trail style: Directional Arrows, Dots, Faction Crests
- Customizable borders, glows, faction themes, and custom icon packs
- Color-pickable trail, sane defaults, zero configuration required
Built primarily for low-vision players, but honestly nice for anyone in a 40-man.
