Not alone in guilty feeling looking for a new job?
I'm sure this is a near weekly thing in this sub, but anyone else feel a constant feeling of remorse/guilt when looking for a new job? At my current org I'm paid pretty well, work life balance is alright.. but have been explicitly told to get any promotion I'm required to do the work/job for 6 months before a pay bump comes eligible. And if/when a pay bump comes or is decided it capps at 10%....when I started looking externally the pay offered is like 12-20% higher salary.
I like my work, im not in love with it...but like 4 years in the same role with ~2.5% annual raise and any promotion is 100% self driven I'm feeling beat down a little.
