Starting a law internship this summer?
Hi everyone, my name is Bart and Im the founder of Law Room.
We’re hosting a free open-to-all live session this Tuesday (19 May) at 8pm on starting a law internship and what to actually expect in a legal workplace day to day.
The session will be delivered by a final-year law student who has completed multiple internships at top commercial firms and secured a trainee contract.
A lot of students go into internships unsure what firms actually expect, how to stand out, or how to turn the experience into longer-term opportunities.
We wanted to run something practical, honest, and genuinely useful for students heading into internships this summer.
We’ll talk about:
• what internship work is actually like day to day
• how to make a strong first impression
• handling pressure, feedback and uncertainty
• what firms notice during internships
• how students can put themselves in the best position for future trainee opportunities
It’s completely free and open to anyone interested.
If you’d like to join, comment below and I’ll PM you the details, or feel free to message me directly.
