I tend to be very picky about what I read… it needs a good plot + interesting characters for me to like it lol

Could you recommend something based on my favorite stories? Preferably nothing involving the mafia or relying on character stereotypes, like the "bad boy" or the "not-like-other-girls" MC with no complexity throughout the story 😭 If the story's goal is to make fun of that or aim for character development, then that’s fine

now I know I listed The Doberman, which is a mafia story, but I found the LI really entertaining and every chapter made me want to tear my hair out ngl
