I ran my resume through an AI recruiter detector, and it rejected me for being "too human"
I spent three months applying to tech jobs with my standard resume and got zero callbacks. Out of curiosity, I bought access to a popular enterprise ATS tool that recruiters use to filter applications.
I uploaded my actual resume. The AI scored me at 42/100 and flagged my profile as "high risk" because my job descriptions were written in natural language rather than stuffed with exact keyword density patterns.
So I let ChatGPT rewrite my entire resume into unreadable, robotic corporate jargon. I uploaded that version to the same tool.
My score jumped to 98/100 with a label: "Top Tier Candidate."
I sent this AI-generated garbage to 10 companies yesterday and already have two interviews scheduled for Friday.
We have officially reached a point where actual humans are disqualified by algorithms for writing like humans, while rewarded for acting like robots. How are we supposed to take this job market seriously?
