Alright, I'm ready to admit two things about ER...
Without the sample and Peggy's rapping, the beat for "babygirl" is insanely bland and average until the guitar part. Listening to the instrumental/sampleless versions of the ER songs makes me really appreciate how necessary Peggy's "percussion rapping" is on the album. Some of them literally don't sound complete w/out it.
"Bridges on Fire" ft. Buzzy Lee has grown on me after I've listened to more since the initial release. While I still personally think it's the least good Peg-Lee collaboration ("Don't Put Anything On the Bible" & "i lay down my life for you" are still untouched IMO), it's a good song in its own right. I think originally I'd have given it a 5.5 - 6 out of 10, now I'd give it a 7 - 7.5 out of 10.
