DAL LAX 320 vs 737 trips, premium availability, etc. Bid for metal over base or base over metal?

Options: LAX 737, DTW 320 (Bid LAX ASAP)

I have a 73 type, wouldn't hate to keep flying it, but never touched an airbus. Is it actually better? Looking for info on ability to make $$ early on. I know 320 group is larger at LAX, but does that translate to more flux and ability to pick up? Understood that as hiring continues and staffing improves that the premium will dwindle for junior players.

Is it worth bidding away from ideal base in the 320 to try and bid LAX later? Age old debate, I know. Currently living in the midwest, DTW easy commute until I get LAX and can move.

Resigning while on IOE

At Airline A: Finished sims, IOE trip in a few days.

Got a class at the goal Airline B in 3ish weeks.

Do I give a resignation notice now? I can probably complete IOE before the next start, but that gives less than a week notice. Will my current airline not even bother putting me through IOE trips with a resignation notice in?

DAL pilots, what are you guys crediting on average? Obviously metal/seniority contingent, but I’m looking for some data points over the first few years.
