Bachelors but not in electronics, can I get into an internship or do I need electronics experience?

I’m 28. I have a bachelors in communication studies and experience in sales, electronic systems sales, but nothing hands on. Will I be accepted into an apprenticeship or anything else right out of the gate?

I’m 28 with 0 tech experience looking to break into being an FSE for medical equipment.

Hi all. I’m 28 and I work in sales as an account executive. I have a bachelors in communication and media studies, so no technical experience or education at all.

For a while I’ve been looking to make a big change and I believe I really want to pursue this path. I’m a very technical person, love programming and doing electrical projects like arduino, and the travel is totally cool with me because of my lifestyle right now.

So what do I need to do next? My googling is giving me some mixed results. I’m seeing that I can get certs online at CBET that takes 6 months? Is that a good start? I’m okay with paying for fast track programs or whatnot. Whatever’s best.

Any advice here is appreciated. Thank you.

Edit: so sorry this posted like 5 times! Reddit was big time bugging.

28 year old account executive looking for a change up. Organ courier? Crane operator?

Hi. I'm 28 years old and I live in the Central Valley of California. 2 years ago, I graduated from San Jose State University with a bachelors degree in Communication studies. Since then, I've worked in sales. Right now, I'm an account executive for a fortune 100 company, working with institutional clients on capital expenditure projects.

Jesus fucking christ I hate it. I hate it so much. I hate sales. I hate business. It’s boring as fuck and frankly I’m a hippy on the inside and an anti-capitalist but I look great in a suit and can act corporate all day long.

I’m also very fortunate. I have no debt whatsoever, no kids, no mortgage, and a partner that I love dearly and loves me and we never want kids. She has a crazy schedule (tv producer) and may be switching markets every couple of years.

I want a new gig. Something cool, something weird, something whatever as long as it’s fucking interesting.

I make good money right now which is a bummer because I’ve gotten used to making good money. I know almost anything else won’t make me the money I make now, but as long as it’s like, $70k+, I’d heavily consider it.

My dream job was a pilot, but I have a stupid fucking inner ear disorder so that’s out forever.

Something decentralized would be preferred because my partner switches markets so often. By decentralized I mean a role where perhaps you travel to do your job for a week or so, and then are off for a week. You know?

Hit me with ideas. I’m open.
