Tips on restoring this table? Looking for a recommended stripping agent, and some veneer tips
Bought this beautiful table for 75 of facebook, planning on restoring it. She was also working on restoring it but never finished it. The table top and one of the drop leaves have been stripped, which I suspect damaged the veneer, and she added wood filler to the damaged areas.
The center of all 3 panels is veneer so it'll be treating differently than the rest of the table, which is solid wood.
Im planning on stripping the rest of it, so I need a recommendation for a stripping agent. As well, I'll probably apply a new stain and finish. Maybe color in the wood filler.
