Called DD Support today ...

So... Once again today DD sent me like 5 miles out of the way on a local dash , and THIS time I had to drive down the middle of a cow pasture no joke ! It would have literally been like 2 to 3 miles from the restaurant I picked up at , but I was distracted and listening to the delivery directions in app and ended up being directed to this crappy dirt road bordered by falling down fencing with cows on both sides ! I was mad ! So I called Support and finally was routed to a supervisor that could actually speak English in an understandable way . Of course their answer is that they know the app has glitches ( her word ) and their Engineers are working on it now . Yeah right 🙄 . I also asked why the orders are always wrong about the mileage , example : they say it's 4 miles when it's actually 7 . Got the same answer about engineers looking in to it . DD is full of it and they should reimburse us when their app

" glitches " and we lose money by thinking a delivery is 3 or 4 miles when it's usually much farther. Not only are we using more gas but it's taking time away from other potential good deliveries 🤬

Why don't people put numbers on their houses or abodes anymore?! No house number , no identifying info yet they expect you to know where they live ! Honestly , I had an order from a woman in an apartment , she gave me the number of the very large apartment building but no door number . All she said was " I have a Halloween cat as a door mat " . Yeah lady , I can see that from my vehicle at a distance of about a hundred yards ! Another one had me deliver at her workplace and put the wrong building number on the order ! Also as a new driver I have found a strange occurrence, the people who live in million or multi million dollar homes rarely tip , yet someone in a mobile home or cheap looking apartment will tip every time . I'm not so sure this is the job for me because right now my deepest feelings are that people suck ! I've been dashing for 42 orders now , not even at my 50 mark yet and I feel like this .
