My PayPal account has been permanently suspended, and I cannot use Shopify Payments either. Stripe's Apple Pay, Google Pay, and manual card entry are my only payment methods. For non-U.S. residents, could you please let me know which third-party payment methods you use for the U.S. market?
PayPal has permanently deactivated my business account. I simply hadn't logged in for a while because I hadn't had any sales, but PayPal just permanently deactivated it. I even sent an email to the representative, but I received the same response. They didn't even tell me the reason for the deactivation. I have a vision to grow my brand focusing on the U.S. market, and I think having my account permanently deactivated by PayPal will be a major blow. Has anyone else had a similar experience? Are there any other alternatives?
Shopify + PayPal issue.
My order gets authorized successfully through PayPal, but capture fails with:
PAYEE_ACCOUNT_RESTRICTED
UNPROCESSABLE_ENTITY
HTTP 422
PayPal is connected and active in Shopify Payments settings.
Has anyone encountered this before? Does this usually mean my PayPal Business account is still under review or restricted?
