I created a standard wallet with passphrase.
I moved 5$ worth of crypto on a passphrase wallet.
Logout/wipe everything
Log on back to the passphrase wallet to make sure i wrote my seed + passphrase correctly. ( 2 times )
But I'm still scared. Should i only use standard wallet ( 24 word seed ) for long term holding
Or should i go with passphrase ( after coldcard incident)

now i will punch seed and passphrase on different plates

I just bought a Trezor Safe 7 from https://www.virginmegastore.ae/en/electronics-accessories/computers-accessories/data-storage/crypto-wallets/trezor-safe-7-advanced-crypto-hardware-wallet---charcoal-black/p/1145376.
I didn't order it online, though. I bought it in person at a Virgin Megastore in the UAE, which is an official reseller.
I removed the plastic film and the cardboard box seal, and the hologram seal was also completely intact. There was no pre-installed firmware—I installed it myself using my iPhone (via the Trezor Suite app).
Everything looks good, but I'm still skeptical.

And I'm thinking of buying a trezor safe 3 for now and later moving to safe 7 ( also when they fix the tropic01 laser bug )
Is this a good idea? Is trezor safe 3 good?
I want to protect my seed phrase at all costs, and the 'Ledger Recover' feature has me seriously concerned. If I use Ledger Live just for the initial setup on my Ledger Flex, but then generate my seed and only interact with open-source interfaces like Sparrow Wallet going forward—does this actually protect my seed from being extracted?
